I just wanted something to post since it’s been a while. I took some old concept art from a game I was developing with a small group of people. I think this stuff is from 2013 to 14′.
The game was a beat-em up inspired by TMNT IV, Simpsons arcade, etc etc.
heya sneep, love your work! I'm pretty sure I saw somewhere that you use clip studio for your doodles, but what brushes do you use?
AnonymousI don’t have or mess with many custom brushes (which I should). I wind up experimenting with some of the tools that come installed with it, like a customized rough pencil, and the Mapping pen and G-Pen tools the most.
For this Bart one in particular, I experimented with the Donny Do paint brush from a guy named Lapinbeau, who made a cool CSP brush pack. I did do strokes by hand to make it look like water color (so it looks darker at regions, it doesn’t do that automatically just so you know).
